The Idea To Launch Bootcamp is designed for Los Angeles based founders in the earliest stages of their ventures. This six week virtual bootcamp - consisting of a mix of self-directed content + weekly, live discussions - will support startup teams that are looking to launch a functional product or service within the next three months. Founders will develop the foundational skills necessary to validate a business idea, discover/understand their customers, and work towards launching a functional product or service. All while growing their network in the LA startup ecosystem!

Bootcamp sessions will be held weekly for (6) weeks on Wednesday evenings from 5-6pm PST, made up of hands-on instruction, discussion, and collaboration. The weekly sessions cover topics such as:

  • Understanding customer discovery and validation to build a product people really want.

  • The ability to communicate the above through pitching and storytelling.

WHO WE’RE Looking FOR

  • Location: must be based in Los Angeles, with an interest in growing and connecting with the LA ecosystem

  • Founder: the program is primarily self-directed, so you should be ready to take the initiative to learn, discuss and apply weekly learnings.

  • Business Entity: for-profit businesses only

  • Team: must have less than 5 employees (solo founders and multiple founders welcomed)

  • Stage: If pre-launch, you should be looking to launch within the next 3 months

Each week consists of about 2 hours of content to be reviewed at your own pace, with weekly live sessions led by the Grid110 team. Like anything, you get out what you put in. This bootcamp is specifically designed to allow you to focus on running the day-to-day operations of your business while layering in support where needed to help you meet key milestone

The program is free for all accepted companies. Companies must go through an application process to be eligible for this program. To add, Grid110 does not take equity in or provide funding to any company.

Grid110 does not focus on any particular business type or vertical. We welcome applications from any field, sector, or industry (except cannibus). Knowledge and skills taught and reviewed during the program are applicable and transferable to ideas form all sectors & industries. While most businesses are tech enabled, you do not necessarily need to be a “tech company” to be considered. Our companies range across various types of products/services: SaaS, mobile apps, e-commerce, CPG, food, social enterprises, fashion, B2B software, health/wellness, AI, sports, beauty.

Due to the volume of applications we receive, we are unable to accommodate any edits to applications once submitted.

Since this bootcamp is self-directed and is designed to do at your own pace, with live sessions incorporated throughout the six weeks, all team members are encouraged to engage with the content.
