So many pitch events are geared towards pitching to investors. This event was created so that different stage startups can pitch to engineers. One of the biggest hurdles in a startup is finding a CTO (Chief Technical Officer) and/or a developer team to build the product.
Misla- Made in South LA, Code District, and Bixel Exchange have teamed up to connect Startups with Developer talent. Misla is a pre-code academy with focus on training underrepresented minorities in the South Los Angeles area. 

Each startup will have 5 min to pitch their company to a room full of engineers. Startups will range from pre-funded, to seed round, to series A and beyond. Most will be looking for engineers interested in equity-only or equity+cash compensation. Some startups will be pitching to hire our culturally diverse engineers. Pitching Startups will be announced at a later date. The engineers attending will be diverse with skill levels ranging from student to Senior level programmer. They will have interest in joining pre-funded startups and beyond.
